Willie Perkins , nato in luglio 1913 , si 97 anni !
Il mitico " Pinetop", dal 1969 al 1980 nella band di Muddy Waters, con l'amico Willie
" big eyes" Smith 74 anni (anche lui per un periodo nella band di Muddy Waters come
batterista ) , si propone con un nuovo lavoro , puro Chicago blues.
Willie ( che compone buona parte dei titoli) , harmonica e voce, John Primer e "little Frank"
Krakowsky alle chitarre, Bob Stroger al basso e Kenny Smith drums.
Pinetop Perkins voce & piano.
Niente di straordinario ma, lavoro onesto e sudato, questo e' Blues!!!
