Primo lp della band edizione GB, una delle mie band preferite dei sixties ma rapidamente
sparita dalla scena.
I Trogloditi erano in quattro:
Ronnie Bond ( drums )
Chris Britton ( guitar )
Reg Presley ( vocals )
Pete Staples (bass)
il loro produttore e mente geniale del gruppo poteva essere a tutti gli effetti il quinto Troggs !
Tra il 1966 e 1967 i loro grandi successi, anche mondiali !
Canzoni semplici e immediate negli accordi , ma di gran presa ,come wild thing (qui' presente)
che diventera' un vero classico, grazie anche alla versione che Jimi Hendrix ne ha fatto.
Precursori di un rock che diventera' sempre piu duro.
Ottima la cover the jaguar and the thunderbirs ( chuck berry ), tipico suono Troggs per
," lost girl" e "from home", si stacca per il suo stile vaudeville " hi hi hazel ".
Nei bonus cd troviamo altri due classici Troggs , "with a girl like you " e " i can't control myself ",
consiglio comunque per chi interessato la doppia raccolta " the single's as & bs " edita repertoire
