con "rattle and hum " dell'anno successivo chiusero un ciclo per loro irripetibile , un album
con tracce di studio e tracce live . Abbinato all'uscita mondiale di un film girato completamente
negli states il disco e' completamente intriso dalla musica americana , partendo da "helter skelter " dei Beatles fino al blues con BB. King , passando da Bob Dylan al gospel di "i steel
haven't found what i'm looking for" ed allo stesso inno americano eseguito da Hendrix a Woodstok che fa da intro alla visionaria " bullett the blue sky ", poi due tra le piu' belle canzoni
della decade : " desire "e " all i want is you " , senza dimenticare " angel of harlem , silver and
gold , pride....
