lacrimablues- v.a. no nukes - the muse concerts for a non-nuclear future - 1980

Nel 1979 organizzato da tanti musicisti ,( in testa Jackson Browne ) il movimento contro
l'energia nucleare con un concerto al " Madison Square Garden " di New York , un
avvenimento di portata mondiale , vuoi per la caratura dei musicisti che hanno aderito , ( alcuni nomi : Tom Petty , James Taylor , Crosby Still & Nash , Bruce Springsteen , Ry Cooder ,
Doobie Brothers ... , naturalmente Jackson Brown ) ma piu' importante lo scopo di
sensibilizzare il mondo sui pericoli del nucleare e sulla necessita' di usare l'energia che il
sole ci da , cosa che per quei tempi era futuro. Inutile dire che il concerto fu Strepitoso ,
oggi e' storico , per il messaggio contenuto e per le micidiali esibizioni ( vedere video sopra
Bruce Springsteen al massimo della forma !!!! ) . Il disco e' pubblicato nel 1980 in triplo
vinile con tanto di libretto dove tutti i pericoli del nucleare sono messi in evidenza e dove si parla di " solar economy " . Argomento molto attuale anche per noi , visto quello che recentemente
e' successo in Giappone e il referendum alle porte sul nucleare . Amiamo la natura , la musica,
la nostra terra , facciamo sentire la nostra voce non perdiamo l'occasione di dire anche noi
NO al Nucleare !!!
