Nato a Spokane Washington nel 1944 , poi  cresciuto a New Orleans Kenny e' un pianista boogie-woogie tra i più' affermati in america , in attività' fin dai primi anni 60' , ha sempre dichiarato

come principali ispiratori Ray  Charles , Cal Tjader , Jimmy Read , un vero istrione del pianoblues

alle spalle grandi collaborazioni e riconoscimenti , una lunga serie di buoni album ( molti premiati)

ed ora questo ottimo " go, just do it" , presenta soul , boogie-woogie blues ( fantastica "let the rock,

roll" ) ballate blues impreziosite da magiche tastiere ( piano, organo ) , oltre a sue composizioni 

cover di Percy Mayfield e JJ Cale , tutto da godere e dimenticavo dal 15 agosto 2017 nella

"boogie -woogie hall of fame" nell'olimpo assieme a grandi pianisti americani come " Fats Domino,

Ray Charles , Prof. Longhair , Johnny Johnson, Otis Spann , Pinetop Perkins. tanto per fare qualche nome!
