lacrimablues - john lee hooker jr. - all hooked up - 2012
John jr. ha certamente una pesante eredita' , figlio di uno dei piu' grandi bluesmen di tutti i tempi , non e' un
caso che Junior J . abbia pubblicato i suoi lavori dopo il 2001 anno della scomparsa del padre,
nonostante sia cresciuto a pane e blues e che gia a 18 anni partecipasse' alla registrazione del live " soledad prison" ( 1972 ) con John Senior . Ora John Jr. ( Detroit 1952 ) a sessantanni trova il giusto spazio che
il suo dna merita , con questo lavoro, un blues vissuto e onesto , ottima sezione fiati e la collaborazione
di un grande come Lucky Peterson , R&B e Blues , ma grande mestiere e tanto cuore lo distinguono tra i
migliori lavori dell'anno !!!

lacrimablues - smokin'joe kubek & bnois king- close to the bone- unplugged - 2012
Smokin' Joe ,( nato in Pennsylvania nel 1956 ) musicalmente associato al " Texas blues " ( non ancora
quindicenne per il suo talento alla chitarra era gia in tour nel circuito di Dallas con Freddy King ) .
Dal 1980 inizio'la collaborazione con Bnois King ( nato in Louisiana ) , voce e chitarra che in pratica
vedeva la nascita ufficiale della "Smokin' Joe Kubik Band ". Ora dopo 14 album alle spalle la band
" stacca la spina " e ne esce un lavoro fresco e piacevole , tanti ospiti del giro texano , buon blues ,
suoni limpidi , acustiche eleganti che mantengono il buon groove del delta !
