A 18 anni Sonny Terry ( Greensboro Ga. 1911 - Mineola 1986 ) , divenne completamente cieco , dovette
per forza scegliere la strada della musica , una lunga carriera che lo porto' ad essere uno dei piu' grandi
armonicisti blues , una lunga e grande collaborazione con il chitarrista Browne Mc Gee  che lo porto' sui
palchi di tutto il mondo. Ora godiamoci questa raccolta di puro country blues con la splendida armonica

Un supergruppo nato dalla passione per la ricerca delle vecchie tradizioni  nella musica , questo e' il loro
secondo lavoro ed ai tre componenti originali si e' aggiunto anche Justin Showah , ( Alvin Youngblood Hart,
Luther Dickinson , Jimbo Mathus, gli altri tre ). Strumentazione assolutamente acustica , in " old times there..)
si respira puro folk tradizionale , le canzoni arrivano prevalentemente dal periodo della guerra di secessione,
la lotta tra Nord e Sud , storie di guerra e schiavi , musica intrisa di blues , gospel e radici delle terre del Sud.
Grande tecnica e musica che aldila egli anni che ha,  riesce coinvolgente e affascinante !
