lacrimabeat - dave clark five - glad all over again - 1993
I Dave Clark Five , gruppo londinese di area tipicamente beat iniziano ufficialmente
con la loro discografia nel 1962 , saranno poi il secondo gruppo inglese a piazzare un
loro hit nella classifica americana ( dopo i beatles ) ma, il primo a fare una tournee
trionfale negli States. Leader da cui il gruppo ha preso il nome Dave Clark
( batterista ma anche coautore di molti brani ) , tra il 1964 ed il 1967 loro periodo
d'oro decine di singoli nelle charts mondiali ( specialmente usa e gb ).
Nel 1970 il gruppo si divide restando pero' con almeno cento milioni di vendite di
dischi , uno dei gruppi di maggiori vendite .
Dal 1988 sono entrati nella Rock Hall Fame .
