lacrimablues- there will be blood - wherever you go - 2012
Nel recente panorama musicale italiano una delle migliori opere prime . ( parere personale )
Con " wherever you go " i There Will Be Blood ( primo lavoro preceduto dall'ep "prologue " )
ci sbattono in faccia un blues sporco , con profonde radici nel rock ( Zeppelin, Stones , Black Keys..
.. che hanno profonde radici nel blues..) , una propria personalita' che spicca con suoni ipnotici e scosse
violente , creativita' ,anima e cuore . L'impronta blues e' forte con una sottile inquietudine presente anche
nella " concept story "dei testi . Ottima anche l'idea di visualizzare ogni brano con illustrazioni
dell'artista Matteo Fumagalli "blues" ( Fumatto tumblr.com ) ,un contributo che eleva un ottimo lavoro .
Abbiamo una promettente scena musicale italiana , con i There Will Be Blood molti nome nuovi ,
Francesco Piu , Red Wine Serenades , Bud Spencer Blues Explosion , Angelo " Leadbelly " Rossi ,
Mandolin Brothers , The Cyborgs , aria fresca e musica nuova . Finalmente!!!!

lacrimablues- hound dog taylor - natural boogie - 1974
Theodore Roosvelt " hound dog " Taylor ( natchez 1915 - chicago 1975 ) , nome inserito al " Blues Hall
of Fame " nel 1984 , uno dei piu' grandi chitarristi nell'area " chicago blues " , con la sua tecnica slide si puo'
considerare maestro ispiratore di tanti altri musicisti , non ultimo George Thorogood ( nei suoi live ,molte
le canzoni dedicate a Hound Dog Taylor ), boogie blues travolgenti , grande tecnica e cuore ( usava una
chitarra Teisco Kawa-Era , marca Japan ). In attivita dal 1957 , le incisioni per la " alligator "negli anni 70'
sono ai massimi livelli , " natural boogie " e' un esempio , un artista da scoprire ( se gia non lo conoscete)
per la sua musica sempre attuale!
